CRIMINAL JUSTICE & THE STUDY OF THE CRIMINAL MIND
You’ll graduate from Lincoln College Online’s Bachelor's of Science Degree program in Criminal Justice and the Study of the Criminal Mind with the professional skills and theoretical knowledge required for positions in law enforcement, government, state and federal agencies, and the private sector.
You will be prepared to begin a career in the following areas:
- Loss Prevention (Opportunities are typically within the private sector and include such industries as Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, Insurance, Education, Financial Institutions, and more)
- Private Security and Protection Services (Opportunities with local and national companies include such duties as Uniformed Guarding Services, Patrols and Inspections, Concierge and Receptionist Services, and more)
- Government Agencies and Law Enforcement (Agencies at the federal, state and local levels need well-trained candidates for positions with Correctional Departments, Municipal Facilities, Police Departments, Emergency Call Centers, and more)
Additional career opportunities exist for Criminal Justice majors at the bachelor's degree level. In addition to the career paths listed, some Criminal Justice students go on to work in social work, private security or risk management.
