I AM A COMPUTER NOVICE
Although Lincoln is an online college and your computer will be your virtual classroom, you don’t need to be a computer expert to be a Lincoln student. You just need a computer with an Internet connection and some basic software, all of which can be downloaded at no charge.
During your New Student Orientation, our staff will go over how our user-friendly online classes work, teaching you the skills you need. And if you ever need technical support, our Help Desk is just a phone call or an email away, and it’s open 24/7. All Lincoln online courses are built with the exact same navigation and structure, so once you learn how to interact with your very first course, you’ll be prepared for each and every course you’ll take with us.
Many of our students were initially apprehensive about using a computer for education, but they quickly adapted and were surprised at how easy it is. And the computer skills you pick up at Lincoln will make you more attractive to potential employers.
