Applying for financial aid can be confusing and time-consuming. The good news is, as with everything you do at the Online Campus of Lincoln College of New England, you won’t have to do it alone. Your Financial Aid Advisor will be available whenever you need help.

Once you’ve completed the application process, you’ll be introduced to a Financial Aid Advisor who can answer any questions you may before officially enrolling into your online degree program at Lincoln College of New England's Online Campus. Your Financial Aid Advisor will explain the concepts of financial aid to you and walk you through each step of the process. They will prepare you for what needs to be done and answer any questions you might have.

Your next big step will be logging into Lincoln’s Financial Aid Portal. This portal will guide you through the items that need to be completed. Most importantly, you will need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is completed online. Along the way, your Financial Aid Advisor will be glad to provide you with any help you need, step by step. Most documents can be completed online, saving you the hassle of hard copy paperwork. However, you can expect to be asked to send in additional information such as information related to your taxes. Your Financial Aid Advisor will help you determine exactly what is needed and why.

More good news – at Lincoln, the cost of your required textbooks is built into your course tuition, and therefore the cost of books will be packaged in with your financial aid plan. That’s not the case at most traditional colleges where students must pay for their own books separately, and the costs can really add up.
