Credit Transfer Requirements and Evaluation 

Perhaps you’ve already taken some courses at a local community college or university, and wonder if Lincoln will accept the credits you’ve previously earned. As with all accredited colleges, such a decision will be made on a case-by-case basis. Our Director of Education will determine how many credits you can transfer to your Lincoln degree program based upon certain criteria, including the course descriptions of the classes you’ve already taken, the courses that Lincoln requires to be completed for your chosen online degree program, how long ago you finished your prior coursework and the grade that you received at that time.

Let your Admissions Representative know if you would like to request that your previous college courses be evaluated for possible transfer credit online. Your Admissions Representative will help you get the process started, which will include the submission of your official transcripts from your last school. Our Education Department will work quickly so that you know which and how many courses you are eligible to transfer before you begin your online degree program at Lincoln.
