Lincoln College Online

The requirements for admission are quite simple:

• You must be at least 17 years old;

• You must complete and submit an online application;

• You must submit proof that you graduated from high school or earned your GED. Your Admissions Representative can help you with this;

• You must successfully complete our Wonderlic academic entrance assessment – a simple online test designed to evaluate your basic skills coming into school;

• You must be able to maintain reliable access to an Internet-connected computer meeting our minimum technical requirements, below.

Minimum Computer System and Web Browser Requirements and Recommendations

Personal Computer (PC)

• Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows XP, XP Tablet PC, XP Media Center 2005,
• Word processor program such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, Corel Word Perfect, Microsoft Office 2003 (or higher) including Word, Excel and PowerPoint recommended
• Intel Pentium III, Intel Celeron, AMD Athlon, AMD Sempron (or greater)
• 256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended)
• CD ROM with a minimum drive speed of 8x (required)
• 5 GB of available hard-disk space (recommended)
• Speakers or headphones for audio portions of course (Note: text transcripts of all audio presentations are available)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader (for downloading and printing transcripts); Download at no charge: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
• Internet connection: Dial-up (56 kbps minimum requirement); Broadband Cable / DSL (recommended); T1 or higher
• Web browser: Internet Explorer 7 (or higher); Firefox 1 (or higher); or Mozilla with Flash Player 8 (or higher) installed
• Screen resolution of 800 by 600 pixels (1024 by 768 or greater recommended)
