Technical Requirements

The requirements for admission are quite simple:

• You must be at least 17 years old;

• You must complete and submit an online application;

• You must submit proof that you graduated from an approved high school or earned your GED. Your Admissions Representative can help you with this;

• You must successfully complete our Wonderlic academic entrance assessment – a simple online test designed to evaluate your basic skills coming into school;

• You must be able to maintain reliable access to an Internet-connected computer meeting our minimum technical requirements, below.

 

Minimum Computer System and Web Browser Requirements and Recommendations

The minimum system requirements are meant to serve as a guideline for what is acceptable to access your online courses using technology.
  • Microsoft Office 2007 to include Access, Windows XP, or Vista

• 1.0 GHz or faster processor

• 1GB RAM (2GB recommended)

• DVD-ROM/CD-R/RW (DVD+R/+RW recommended)

• 20GB of AVAILABLE hard-disk space

• Speakers and Sound Card

• High speed connection to the Internet (DSL, Cable)

• Windows: Internet Explorer 7.0.

• Windows: Mozilla Firefox 2

The following plug-ins are required for many of the resources available in your online courses:
