As with everything we do at Lincoln College Online, a division of Lincoln College of Technology, we have worked to simplify and streamline our online admissions process because we know you have a busy life.

HOW THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS WORKS

Soon after you make your first call to Lincoln or contact us online to request more information, one of our Admissions Representatives will reach out to open up a dialogue, answer your questions, tell you more about our school and help you decide if Lincoln is the right choice for you. When you’re ready, your Admissions Representative will take you through the application and enrollment process. Your Representative will help you with every step, making sure you’ve filled out our online application correctly and completed any other paperwork you need to submit. Our entire application process takes place online, and you can even sign and submit your forms electronically – most of our students don’t have to mail in their application materials or hunt down a fax machine.

You’ll have the same Admissions Representative throughout to make things easier for you, and he or she is likely to call you even after you’re enrolled to make sure everything is going smoothly. Our Admissions Director will also call you to get to know a little about you – your background, your goals, what you hope to get from your Lincoln online education. One of our Financial Aid Advisors will also reach out to you right away to learn if you’ll be seeking financial aid, to schedule an appointment and give you information on how to apply.

ONCE YOU ARE ACCEPTED

After you’ve been accepted and have officially enrolled, you’ll get an information-filled welcome packet in the mail, and a New Student Advisor will contact you and assist you through the New Student Orientation process. Our Advisors are great resources for answering your questions and helping make your transition to college as easy as possible.

Another useful resource is the welcome webinar and conference call for new students, broadcast the week before each new class term begins. This is a live presentation where you can meet some of our faculty and staff and ask them questions. It’s optional, but we highly recommend it.  Get ready to learn about your new Online College at the Lincoln New Student Orientation.
