Lincoln College Online

It’s only natural to wonder about the quality of the education you’ll get at any school. Our commitment to maintaining our regional accreditation status is important to those we serve, allowing Lincoln students to apply for financial aid from the federal government, such as Title IV grants and loans. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Lincoln's online's degree programs are offered for online delivery through Lincoln College of New England (located at 2279 Mount Vernon Road, Southington, CT 06489). Lincoln College of New England is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. The Health Information Technology program received programmatic accreditation and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) in collaboration with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), 233 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 2150, Chicago, Illinois 60601. At Lincoln, we’re equally proud of the quality of our Online instructors. We carefully select our faculty based on a number of criteria:

• Advanced Degrees – All of our faculty have earned at least a Master’s degree or equivalent industry certifications.
• Industry Experience – Our instructors bring real-world experience to the virtual classroom. We hire from all over the country to provide our students with only the most seasoned industry veterans. Our students learn from experts who give them a true taste of their chosen career path.
• Extensive Screening Process – Faculty are carefully screened to assess their industry experience, teaching experience and ability to communicate effectively with students.

And even though they’re very well qualified to teach at the Online Campus of Lincoln College of New England, we provide additional training:

• Each new instructor goes through a 90-hour training and supervision on-boarding process before being certified as a Lincoln instructor.
• Lincoln offers continuous training in the art of teaching to keep our online college instructors current in their industries.
